The student body in my school is getting increasingly more diverse every year, and yet the reading materials in most classroom libraries remain overwhelmingly white. With these books I will curate a collection of diverse reading material that all students in grades 3-5 can borrow from. I will create an online platform for students and teachers to browse and request to borrow through. With these books, in addition to the ones I have purchased throughout the years with my own money, all students will feel represented in our classrooms libraries.

About my class
