My kindergarten classroom is in great need of Chromebooks this school year. As of now, my students are learning virtually and I do have some students who don't have technology in their homes. A lot of our students are on a waitlist for Chromebooks. All of the computers from our school have been checked out, and we no longer have any available at school. I do worry that if we do ever return to school and need to have Chromebooks to access our i-Ready curriculum for enriching or reteach reading and math activities that we will no longer have the technology to do so since all of our Chromebooks are checked out. My plan would allow students in need to sign out a Chromebook but once school is back in person, I would ask that they bring them back so we have technology in the classroom. These Chromebooks will be very well used and loved by all of my kindergarten students each and every day.
