The students in my autism class often struggle with reading. They need high interest reading material. With COVID students in my class are behind their peers and new and exciting reading material will inspire them to read more. Students with autism often have specific interests and they like to have choices. I have been teaching for only a few years and so I am still trying to build up my library. My students love books about science and history. They love colorful and interesting books. I also try to read aloud to my students each day. I need new books to expand my students' vocabulary as well.
