This year our Extended School Year Program for our preschool and kindergarten special education students will need to conducted remotely due to COVID-19 restrictions in our city and state. Our students are hands-on learners. They learn best when they can manipulate objects and engage in repeated practice guided by adults. Many of our students do not have access to educational materials at home. The materials in our projects will be put into Remote Learning Kits that students can use during Live Remote Lessons this summer. The opportunity for our students to gain access to the tools to continue to learn and play will be invaluable to them and their families!!
