Our classroom will have a fantastic group of students, eager to learn, with many different needs, and lots of energy to spare. Having a standing desk (with a swinging foot-bar) in our classroom will allow some flexibility for students who need to move their bodies during lessons. Likewise, the classroom rugs can be used for partner-reading and independent reading, allowing kids to stretch out for comfort and allowing them to better focus on their learning. The rugs will also provide a nice soft area for all students to sit together for large group instruction.
