My students must keep up with the latest advancements in education and technology in order to become 21st century learners. Education is evolving every single day. Students in my classroom need daily, immediate access to technology to fulfill assignments requirements. Some student's do not have access to computers or internet at home. For some, school is the only opportunity they have for technology based learning. Having access to a chromebook would mean equity for all students. These chromebooks will give students access to information that might not be found in the school library. They provide students with the opportunity to enhance their skills in using word processing programs. The opportunity to access a chromebook when needed, allows students to feel they have the same opportunities and tools as others.
