As the School Counselor, I will use these materials in my individual and small group counseling sessions, as well as guidance lessons. I will also use these materials to create a library of social and emotional resources available for all staff and students. Classroom teachers can use the materials for their classrooms and the Exceptional Children’s staff can use it for students who have Social and Emotional Goals as part of their Individualized Education Plan. Resources will be related to friendship, impulsivity, cooperation, feelings, bullying, anger, teamwork, worry, anxiety, stress, grief, perseverance and frustration. These resources will especially be needed during the time of transitioning back to school after Remote Learning.
