My students need interesting, and engaging non-fiction media to enhance our third grade curriculum and reading material. Scholastic News Magazines present engaging and interesting current event articles in full color. Donations to this classroom project will give each of my students an opportunity to learn about the world around them, while improving reading skills like fluency and comprehension. The material will motivate them and challenge their critical thinking. Topics presented by the magazine will drive new classroom discussions and promote a strong foundation of learning through real word events.
