Because of COVID-19, my students have gone home without any of their supplies. Students don’t have access to any libraries with everything being in lockdown. My goal is to get each of them 2 new books that I can deliver on their doorsteps to keep them reading and engaged even though we’re not in our classroom anymore. One of our favorites parts each day was our read aloud time, so I think giving them these books will help ease the pain of not being able to come to school anymore, while also giving students something enjoyable to do in the comfort of their own homes.

About my class
