This classroom library of diverse authors, genres, and subjects will inspire more reluctant readers to pick up a book and find their love of reading. Our favorite books as children help us become who we are as adults and some of my students have never found their soul mate in a book. This is my opportunity to help my students do just that. Teenagers nowadays have different lives than we did as children and need to read about characters that have the same issues and ideas that they do. Exposure to these types of books is important to all students in their quest to find their true identity.
