I run my class in three groups. One does a daily reading from the text, one completes an independent reading silenty, and the third completes individual skills at the computer area. It is the computer area that I am requesting new chairs for. The new chairs will look amazing! They will replace the old, stained, worn, mismatched, and broken chairs. Students will not have to compete to see who gets the best chair any longer. Having new chairs will make the room look so much nicer. Students may even enjoy sitting at the computer center and being willing to show a bit more effort, because they have a nice area with new chairs to sit in.
