My students get bored sitting in desks that have been around since I was a student. They want to share their ideas with all the students involved. These seats will give students comfortable seating while sitting. It will provide access to all students to share their ideas without their backs to one another. Engagement will be enhanced since all students will be included in the discussions. As careers are turning more toward collaboration, this will give my students a way to work together when they can sit in groups of close-knit circles. Sitting on the floor will create a less threatening environment for the students since they can work together to share their ideas.
