My watercolor unit is designed so that students may express themselves in the most positive manner. Students first learn the basics of color theory and how to apply this to mixing paints. Then students learn how to use the different brushes and how they can create different strokes: Finally, students learn to paint in the literal and abstract methods. These supplies will give my students the chance to express themselves through watercolor. Watercolor is a great medium for people to express their emotions - especially those with special needs. I usually purchase the watercolors myself, so it would be great to not have to buy then.
