Our alternative school is built around giving students what they need to thrive in both life and school. However, we don't have the ability to offer the same electives as traditional middle schools. I have started a lunchtime Spanish club to help teach those students who still wish to start learning a language in middle school, a critical age for language learning. Through this donation, they will begin to learn Spanish. These books will give students something to work towards and take home at the end of the year. It will help prepare them for high school language classes.
