We have the technology. Learning is happening! But we need quality headphones to replace our old headphones. Earlier this year, I personally bought inexpensive headphones to meet the needs in our classroom. They worked great for two months. But now they are all breaking and we need quality headphones to replace and continue the great learning that is happening. It is great to have the technology, but we need the support tools to help students stay focused on learning. Without headphones, the noise in the classroom is overwhelming. Students are easily distracted and leaning slows down or ceases to continue. I have seen testing scores and focus drop rapidly, without having the proper tools for success in the classroom.
