My class consists of students from various backgrounds, I would like to give them the opportunity to engage with engineering as we build remote control gear bots. While some students will excel with this project because of previous experiences with engineering, others will gain valuable knowledge in engineering as they work in cooperative groups to complete the project. This project fits into our Utah Science Core under the following standard. The standard states that students will communicate effectively using science language and reasoning. This will help students to develop social interaction skills with peers, as they share ideas, and use multiple methods of communicating.
