My students expressed a want for an advanced level cooking class for the upcoming school year. Right now we offer an introductory that focuses on safety and sanitation, measuring, utensil and tool usage, then a short introduction to simple cooking activities. Implementation of an advanced class would give students a greater culinary challenge. In order to implement this type of class we need materials that provide us advanced learning curriculum specifically in the areas of baking and pastry arts. We also need tools specific to this type of skill that help with implementation.
