The purpose of this project is to cultivate wide-ranging steering, coding, and collecting data skills along with graphing for my students. The handling of drones offers both hands-on experiences and teaches problem-solving skills. Our project is designed to take a student with little or no prior experience and guide them to be able to pilot, then eventually program a mini drone to perform a task and be successful in what they do in the class. Your donation to our special needs students' project will help to improve my students' learning experience a fun filled activity that will motivate them to be inquisitive for STEM-related careers. By incorporating the drones project, my students will have the confidence to see them as pilots or learn about the mechanism of the flying objects. As a teacher, I have provided them hands-on experiences with other projects that require assembling and being creative in making their projects. We do need your support to make our students show that each student has the potential to learn and be successful in their endeavor.
