These materials will help me to provide lessons on the element of color that meet the full spectrum of learners' needs. We will learn basic color theory and practice mixing colors through fun, STEAM-based experiments and art projects. This unit will include lessons and materials for both in-person and distance learners in grades K-4. In the art classroom, we will make cross-curricular connections that have lasting impacts on students' understanding of color through exploration of how colors speak to our emotions. Lessons will include literacy components through the books included, as well as hands-on activities for kinesthetic learners.
