These materials will serve my students to have access to a fully functional Studio at their school. Current students have grown up with social media and interact a lot through them. As such, I want to create an opportunity for them to learn editing and filming skills that they will be able to carry, not just at school, but throughout their lives! Editing and filming skills would allow students to create quality content, unleash their creativity, and give them extremely valuable skills in the current digital age! In addition, these skills can potentially be used in any school subject when presenting projects or field trips, as well as in their daily lives. The possibilities are endless! My students already have shown an astonishing interest in the Bronx Latin Studio extra curriculum via a survey. They are already dreaming of growing their YouTube channels or perfecting their Instagram. However, I need the DonorsChoose community’s support to make this dream a reality. My students thank you all already!
