Headphones are a staple in every classroom. However, it is often a frustration when they break or don't work properly. My goals in requesting these headphones for my students is to provide them with a proper tool that will give them the success they need to achieve their learning goals. My self-contained students already have a learning disability, and I always strive to give them the tools to be successful in their learning. The smiles on their faces or the light bulb that goes off when they are successful is pure joy and happiness to me as an educator. Thus, these headphones will be the tool that will give them those successes. The use of updated technology in this technology driven world will increase my students math and reading skills and their desire to learn with new technology within their academics. Moreover, the headphones will aid in their learning by giving them the ability to concentrate on their lessons and block out unwanted sounds. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and I look forward to watching my students thrive and reach their academic goals.
