The social worker's role at Manzanita is to provide things from basic needs, to group and individual counseling sessions. Having these supplies allows for all of our students to have access to be prepared to learn, and allow students to have basic school supplies when their family cannot afford them. Our school policies require our upper grades to carry classroom binders. Binders are a very expensive school supply. Having these binders readily accessible, will allow children who cannot afford them to have a place to put their school supplies and materials to be prepared to learn. My students need your help to help them be prepared to learn and have access to quality materials.
