My students deserve the best education possible, even from a distance. I teach 2nd grade virtually. My students and their families have decided, due to Covid concerns, not to attend school in person. In order to provide a quality digital educational experience for all students, reliable digital equipment is a must. Even though I am unable to be physically present with my students, it is essential that I connect with them on a personal level. It is equally important that I am able to clearly convey educational material and concepts. It is only through building meaningful relationships and clearly presenting quality material that my students can truly learn. A strong educational foundation is so important for future learning and success. A reliable laptop is a necessity to effectively connect with students and aid in their learning. My current laptop is unreliable in that it runs slowly, does not always turn on and cannot connect to all digital materials used to enhance understanding and comprehension for my students.
