My students will bring to life the musical Disney's "Moana Jr." with costumes to represent their characters. These costumes will give my students the confidence to perform their roles in their first time perfoming on stage. My students have never performed in a musical and this performance will provide them that opportunity as they demonstrate what they have learned in singing, acting, and dancing this year. Learning their lines and song lyrics will support their acadmic growth in academic language development which is a priority goal at this school. Additionally, students will engage in social emotional learning.
