These books will be used in lessons to enhance the reading abilities of my students, many of whom are reading 5-6 grade levels below. The availability of work that my students are interested in is limited and this will help to bridge that gap between what they want to read and what will help them improve as readers. I greatly appreciate any consideration in helping my classroom create a class library, it is vital to the success of my students going forward. Literacy is the foundation on which successful educations are built, and while many of my students are behind, this will help them bridge that gap and become successful members of society.
