Donating these books will help increase student achievement and provide my students a special motivation to read. These books will enhance our print-rich classroom environment in hopes that it encourages students to read. Providing a variety of books for students to choose from will increase their reading enjoyment and develop a love for reading. Each week our students will be able to choose from a wide selection of books of interest, to learn to read. Having a variety of books in our library will allow for our class to participate in book study units where they have an opportunity to create projects while learning skills needed to help them become better readers.
