My current camera does not focus or allow students in the back of the room to see the material under the document camera very clearly. I would love to get a new camera that would add new dimensions to their learning. Without the ability to see the material, my students that struggle with learning often get lost on where we are working and cannot focus on the lesson being presented. The sunlight often distorts the images and the camera bulb often burns out and eventually will not be able to be replaced as my unit is over 15 years old. All of my mathematics books are available on line as well as using the document camera to show worksheets and to work though projects together. When small groups complete activities, they use the camera to show their work to their classmates and to discuss answers as well as possible mistakes that are made.
