My students need consistent breaks from academic demands. There are times where my students will get frustrated and they need a break to relieve tension and stress. My students thrive on tangible awards. My students come from low income homes where food is scarce. There are times where the food is a motivator to do the academic demands given. They enjoy these food rewards, which helps reduce behaviors in the classroom. The clock and seating will be helpful because our clock broke. Some of my students are autistic, so having a clock that works is crucial. Some of my students will look at the clock all of the time to stay on track. Using the tangible items (food rewards) Will ensure that the students are trying their best in earning these rewards. I am hoping that someone will help in making this incentive program with points possible. Thank you for your consideration.
