A girl just asked today during free time if she could get the pickleball paddles out. She went over to the wall with the paddle and started playing pickleball by herself (see pics). They always get excited when we get a donorschoose project funded. PE equipment is hard to come by and our budget is never enough to buy expensive PE equipment or replenish PE equipment that was ruined by overuse. Even the new clock has been a valuable addition, supporting students who struggle with analog time while also helping them stay aware of the temperature and manage their day more independently.\r\n\r\nThe most instrumental item, however, has been the JBL speaker. It has quickly become the heartbeat of our classroom, providing a steady stream of engaging, classroom-friendly music. Next school year, we will use the footballs and flag belts for Capture the Football, Ultimate Football, and Flag Football. We will also use the flag football belts in our tag unit.
