Technology is crucial in our lives right now, especially because of the time we live in. This laptop will allow me to have a second monitor to enhance lessons that are not face to face. While teaching virtually and using digital technology, many times several tabs have to be open along with the learning platform. Because of this, the program may crash, or disappear while I am working on attendance or Zoom during an on-screen lesson. If I have another laptop, I could use it to pull up the tabs I need without the risk of losing the material that is already on-screen. The only way to teach virtually is through digital technology, and this laptop will give me an extra way to share examples of content pertaining to learning objectives that the students will be working on synchronously. The extra visual examples and activities shown will help to serve students that learn in different ways. This will benefit my students because I will have an additional resource to provide instruction. In conclusion, the extra laptop will allow me to navigate each lesson without interruption.
