Students with multiple disabilities in need of opportunities to explore. Materials need to be durable, adaptable and reusable. Having a laminating machine and the supplies will benefit the different ways my students learn in the classroom. A laminating machine, paper, velcro, and binder rings will help me to create durable and reusable worksheets and activities that allow the students to be hands-on and learn through repetition. Hands-on activities are the best way for my students to express themselves during a lesson. My students are able to develop and learn new skills through hands on experience, these items will facilitate engagement and better learning. The color paper will be used to facilitate differentiation. My students are visual learners and color coding the activities by paper color will gain their ability to engage. The sticker paper will be used to make it easier for my students to answer questions instead or cut and paste which not all can do. The items I am requesting will make it easier for me to help educate my students in the way they learn best.
