These materials and supplies that I've requested will be used in the advancement of my students as well as the mastery of their individual goals. The leveled readers will be used so that my students who all have learning disabilities will have material to read on their independent reading level within their general education classroom. With these supplies, my students will be able to master their Individual Education Plan goals as well as increase their independent reading levels. The math manipulatives I chose would also aid my students with the advancement of their individual goals as well as aiding them with the task of completing grade-level material. My students enjoy hands-on material and these manipulatives will help them with understanding math and its many concepts. The fraction strips requested will be used so that each student will have their own set to have a hands-on opportunity to work with those fractions to see how each one correlates with the other. Being a special education teacher, these supplies would help me further my students' advancement with their goals as well as assist them with mastering their goals in order to be successful within any classroom.
