These gardening and outdoor enhancements will create an exciting, inspiring space for our pregnant and parenting students to explore and enjoy nature through textures, sights, and sounds with their infants and toddlers while here on campus. With the purchase of these raised garden beds, our teen parents will be able to focus on the importance of nature while providing a calm, natural atmosphere for infants to explore the environment through their senses and for toddlers to fulfill their curiosity while exploring their independence and promoting healthy habits. These supplies will allow our young families opportunities to learn about herbs, vegetables, and flowers while promoting optimal physical and social/emotional health with an emphasis on taking care of nature and working together.
