Flexible seating allows for students to choose how they will best learn. Flexible seating gives students an outlet to move and be able to focus on their learning rather than disrupt or be off task. Flexible seating can increase interactions such as peer-teaching and teacher-student. Students are naturally active, and different seating allows them to get their wiggles out while remaining in their seat so they are able to finish assignments. Kinetic learners and students with unique sensory needs can truly use the classroom furniture to their advantage by having a comfortable place to sit wherever they may want or need to work.
