I would like to give students the opportunity to record their own writing. This would give them a chance to reflect on their own writing and thinking. Students will begin by recording poems that they wrote about themselves and will go on to record an essay that they write for class. Since the school has a grant with Samsung that provides a Chromebook for each student and teacher in the school, headphones are accessory that are always in demand. Have have about four sets of headphones for all my students at this point and none of them support recording their voices. I would like for students to become comfortable with hearing their voices and find pride in sharing their writing using this format.
