Your kindness has made a profound difference in their lives.\r\n\r\nHunger affects children in ways that go far beyond an empty stomach. When students come to school without proper nourishment, they struggle to concentrate, their energy levels drop, and their ability to learn and grow is compromised. It can also impact their emotional well-being, leaving them feeling anxious or isolated. No child should have to face these challenges while trying to succeed in school.\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, we have been able to ensure that these students have access to nutritious snacks. Beyond academics, having reliable access to food has given them a sense of security and dignity, reminding them that they are cared for and supported by their community.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has not only filled stomachs but also opened doors to brighter futures. The school year has just started, but we are already 4 chapters into The Hunger Games and we are seeing the fruits of providing students with a high-interest text to read in class and on their own. Students are asking questions while they read, gasping at dramatic moments, and looking at us with wide eyes when a chapter ends on a cliffhanger. \r\n\r\nAs we read, we are discussing big questions like \"How much power should we have over other people?\" and \"How does a society's obsession with entertainment impact its values?\".
