Warm mittens will allow each child in my care the opportunity to enjoy their outdoor play in the snow. Playing outside is an important time of the day for young children, and should be able to be experienced throughout the winter months. Children will learn independence by engaging in outdoor activities with ease. Students will experience building snowmen, making snow angels, sledding, and shoveling. They will be able to play, without feeling the discomforts of their hands getting cold, and they can enjoy weather in Montana. With the proper snow gear children will be able to regulate their bodies better. When little hands stay warm more discoveries can be made.
