This school year, my students are working on fitness activities to keep them healthy and active throughout their lives. The pedometers will be used for when we take community based walking trips. We will be able to track our students steps and mileage on each trip and add them to our daily fitness logs. Fitness logs keep my students accountable for the work they have completed and accuracy matters! Having each student track their own steps will give the students a more accurate measurement for themselves. With varying ability levels, my students have the opportunity to meet their needs with the help from your donations! The Exercise Body Weight Cards are perfect for modifications for my students! They have the chance to all do the same activities, but at their own comfort level and with the ability to challenge themselves each class. In order to make peer teaching simpler for my students, visuals are a must! Body Weight Cards and Dice with numbers and visuals make my students more successful when it comes time to explain or show an activity, as well as complete it successfully. With your help, my students have the chance to become even more successful than they have come thus far!
