Many of the students I work with struggle with managing their negative emotions when they arise throughout the day. They may become overwhelmed, frustrated, sad and stressed. They are unable to handle these emotions like you and I. Many times these emotions are expressed in anger. I desire to help them manage these emotions by providing them with the skills necessary to cope. They will learn many of these skills in our social skills class or through having their own individualized coping skills kit. These kits will have various fidgets to use and bubbles which will help them in developing deep breathing skills. Thank you for supporting the students I work with and helping them have a successful year especially after a very trying year for the world.
