My class consists of a group of fantastic fourth graders. Majority of my students are English Learners ranging from the beginning stages to the to the well-developed stages in their English proficiency, while a handful are reclassified as being proficient in their language skills. Nearly all of the students come from families with low income. Despite their economic or academic backgrounds, there is a fortified culture of community in our class: students are eager to engage with one another and learn!
