With the advance of Covid, it is even more important that students have their own set of headphones so they can rest assured they are learning germ free. Only 3 of my students were able to bring in headphones and some of them are already broken, so its important to have a reserve stash in the event some are broken. I am teaching a 1st grade Early Intervention Program class with 100% of the students eligible for free or reduced lunch, and some just out of homelessness. These students love to learn but they don't always have the resources to support their learning. The sight word games will help engage the students in their learning and enable them to have fun while learning.
