A welcoming atmosphere motivates the learning of a child. My students have a dirty carpet that doesn't fit our floor time space. There are some of my students that sit on the floor during carpet time otherwise they are all on this sad carpet, pushed together. Please help us spruce up our classroom and give the kids the pick me up they deserve starting off the school year right. A new floor time carpet would make a big difference in the atmosphere and mood in our room. When you are at home, you want your common area to be clean and I'm sure that parents understand 21 kids squashed together on a dirty carpet isn't the most desirable situation for learning.
