A typical day on our court consists of a lot of hard work and dedication. These student-athletes give it their all every day! My student-athletes are amazing young ladies. They work hard both on and off the field. They are true examples of what student-athletes should be. Most of these girls come from low-income homes and lack the basic necessities. Yet, they still come out on the field and give it their all. In fact, most of them use softball as an outlet from the daily struggles they face. These softball face guards will give these amazing student-athletes equipment to enhance their skills. These young student-athletes work hard on and off the field and I would love to be able to go give them the equipment they need to be SAFE and successful. This project will also be able to be used for years to come.
