If this project gets funded, my students will greatly benefit from having these seating options in our classroom. Right now, I have a few bean bags and some seat cushions for them to read and work at when they are not at their desks; however, I don't have enough seats for everyone. My students have been great at sharing and taking turns, but the extra seats that I do have are already getting a lot more use than I expected, and I am noticing the benefits of having more. Adding this furniture to my classroom would help all students work comfortably without being stuck at their desks! Another teacher at my school has similar chairs to the ones I am asking for. and today. when I asked my kids if they would like something similar for our classroom. their faces lit up and they said "Really?! Yeah we should get those! They're awesome!"
