Children love to be successful and use the skills they are learning to do so. Students need a large text dictionary that has the items they are looking for in an easily located manner. These dictionary's will offer a much better approach than the hard-to-manage-on-their-own, small text elementary dictionaries we are using at this time. I have researched with looks inside this Scholastic Children's Dictionary in search of a dictionary that has words big enough for my students to find while scrolling. This dictionary has many references and has, easy to locate, the items that make dictionary use a success. I can't wait to use these with my students and watch them use the dictionary use skills I teach come to life as they find words with success! My students love to share their knowledge and this will help them do just that!
