Having color copies would be beneficial to such a diverse group of students. With many of my students being new to the country or English language learners, it can be challenging to teach them new words or concepts with everything being black and white. They struggle with trying to figure out simple things such as the color of fall, or the colors of liquids. Many individuals are visual learners. We are able to learn and understand something just by seeing a picture even if we don’t understand the language. Giving my students this opportunity would greatly enhance their vocabulary as well as setting them up for success throughout their educational career.
