Every week, I teach 115 5th grade students and we are constantly moving, creating, and making music. My students love to show their knowledge of music by playing instruments. After 2 years of the Recorder and "Hot Cross Buns," they need something new to demonstrate their ability to read music on the staff. This project will be fun, engaging, and memorable for these amazing kids. These ukuleles will be the kick-starter in building my classroom set for my 5th grade students! After learning how to play basic chords and read lead charts (fretted instrument sheet music), the possibilities are endless as students transfer this knowledge over to the guitar, banjo, or mandolin. With your donation, YOU will be an integral part in building our YOU-kulele band!
