The tablets will allow students to access thousands of books electronically. This will allow students who are avid readers freedom to consume numerous series. The students who are reluctant to read will have books that interest them, but yet are written at a lower reading level. Having a set of Fire tablets will allow me to meet the needs of both my highest achieving students as well as my struggling readers. Differentiating my instruction in this way will maximize student achievement. Not only will the students reading fluency, vocabulary acquisition, and reading enjoyment increase, they also be rewarded tangibly with with stickers, bookmarks, and other trinkets. The students' confidence will grow as they encounter success with books.
