I am teaching the French kindergarten Immersion students for the Anchorage School District. The benefits of immersion education have been showed to increased abilities and test scores in students. There are many benefits of adding technology to supplement instruction in language learning. iPads can be effective tools for documenting student learning and providing parents in the program with feedback. They are friendly for kindergarten classes for drag-and-drop activities, tap-to-play educational apps, interactive language games, etc. The technology helps to motivate students and keep them engaged with the content and material all while remaining in the target language.
