As an inner-city school, oftentimes supplies are limited for various reasons. The students rely on manikins and manikin stands to practice the application before they are developed enough to provide services to clients. We currently have a shortage of the listed items due to practical applications such as hair cutting and wear and tear on the manikin stands we have. Self-expression is always encouraged in my classroom. Creativity is often a talent that you find in a student taking Cosmetology and always promoted in all that we do and everything begins in the wonderful theory classroom then followed out to the practice floor with the ending goal being the salon floor which comes rapidly.
